Proximal Cloud and FarmX Partner to Expand AI Use in Agriculture | Machine Maker – Latest Manufacturing News | Indian Manufacturing News – Latest Manufacturing News | Indian Manufacturing News

Proximal Cloud has entered into a strategic partnership with FarmX, an agricultural technology company focused on artificial intelligence, to support large-scale AI deployments across farming operations. The partnership was presented at the AI Impact Summit 2026 and combines Proximal Cloud’s cloud infrastructure with FarmX’s farming intelligence platform to support real-time, data-based decision-making in agriculture.

Although agricultural technology tools are becoming more common, large farming businesses still face difficulties using AI across scattered data systems, remote farm locations, and mixed equipment environments. Important information such as satellite images, sensor data, weather reports, and farm records is often stored separately, reducing the effectiveness of prediction and automation tools. Proximal Cloud aims to solve this issue by providing a unified infrastructure layer that allows FarmX’s systems to operate more reliably across complex farming networks.

The partnership connects Proximal Cloud’s computing, storage, and networking capabilities with FarmX’s tools for machine learning, satellite analysis, sensor monitoring, automation systems, and electric tractor technology. This combined setup allows continuous data collection, analysis, and decision-making across large farms, helping companies improve yield planning, strengthen farm management, and support environmentally responsible practices.

With India placing greater emphasis on technology-driven agriculture and food security, Proximal Cloud is expanding its work in agricultural technology through partnerships focused on practical deployment and long-term growth. Its work with FarmX aims to help farming organisations move from small trials to full-scale implementation.

“Large farms are becoming more data-intensive and spread across many locations,” said Renu Raman, Founder and CEO of Proximal Cloud. “This partnership shows how strong cloud systems can support real agricultural technology at scale. Together with FarmX, we are working to build reliable platforms that improve farm decisions and operations.”

“Many agricultural technology projects struggle to move beyond limited trials because of scattered data and infrastructure challenges,” said Premal Ashar, COO of FarmX. “Working with Proximal Cloud gives our platform a stronger base, allowing more dependable and cost-effective deployments for large farming businesses.”

At the AI Impact Summit 2026, the two companies demonstrated system designs and live workflows for distributed farming operations, showing how cloud infrastructure and farming technology can work together from data collection to automation. They plan to continue expanding their partnership to support large-scale agricultural projects in the coming year.

Founded in 2024 and based in New Delhi, Proximal Cloud provides cloud infrastructure that helps organisations run large data-driven applications reliably and securely. Its platform supports analytics, machine learning, and automated systems, offering the computing, storage, and networking needed for large operations. Proximal Cloud works with industries such as agriculture, energy, and manufacturing.

FarmX provides an integrated agricultural technology platform that combines machine learning, satellite analysis, sensor monitoring, automation tools, and electric tractors. Its solutions help large farms manage operations better, plan crop yields more accurately, and make informed, sustainable decisions.
